Toss a coin for your tea at Zouk

A top Manchester restaurant is giving theatre-goers the chance to gamble for their grub - and win their meal for free. Zouk Tea Bar and Grill is offering customers a complimentary coin toss at the end of their meal when they dine at the Chester Street venue between 4pm and 7pm Sunday to Thursday. If the coin lands on heads, the lucky diners will walk away without paying a penny for their food; if it lands on tails then the bill will have to be paid.

Zouk chairman Amjad Bashir said: “Money is tight for everyone at the moment and many people are looking to cut down on nights out as a result. We thought we’d introduce a quirky and unbeatable offer to tempt people back out to enjoy an evening of fantastic food and entertainment.â€?

After opening its doors in February, Zouk has already earned acclaim for its eclectic menu of authentic Indian/Pakistani cuisine.

Amjad added: “We wanted to have a bit of fun with this offer and encourage people to get out and enjoy themselves. There’s a lot of doom and gloom around at the moment – even if the weather is bad considering it’s nearly summer. We’d like to put a smile on people’s faces so are inviting everyone to come along and try their luck.â€?

The offer runs from 4pm to 7pm Sunday to Thursday and excludes drinks and alcohol. To be in with the chance of winning a free meal, simply present your theatre tickets for that evening to your host upon arrival at Zouk.
