Tuck into Bunny Curry for Easter

Forget the chocolate eggs, for it’s time to celebrate Easter with a bunny curry instead! Manchester’s Kashmiri Spice restaurant is serving up the unusual speciality during the Easter weekend in a bid to offer customers a different taste of Easter. The Indian restaurant’s rabbit curry recipe was inspired by celebrity chef and smallholder Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall, who has recently expressed enthusiasm to get the forgotten animal back on British menus.

Kashmiri Spice has teamed up with take away portal www.just-eat.co.uk to offer customers the mild-medium spiced speciality from Good Friday until Easter Monday.

Shiraz Ahmed, owner of Kashmiri Spice, said: “We were very happy to be approached by Just-Eat.co.uk to work together on this new Easter recipe and, although rabbit curry might not be for everyone, we’ve no doubt it will be a talking point over this Bank Holiday weekend. People are happy to eat more traditional curries, such as Chicken Madras and Tikka Massala, so we’re hoping our new curry will generate just as much, if not more, interest.â€?
