TV chef James Martin launches new book at Booths MediaCityUK

TV celebrity chef James Martin will be signing copies of his brand new cookbook Fast Cooking at Booths in MediaCityUK on 17 October. The presenter of BBC 1?s Saturday Kitchen is a regular team member on BBC 2’s Ready Steady Cook - and, of course, a Strictly Come Dancing semi-finalist.

Fast Cooking is a collection of 100 simple, everyday recipes that can be prepared from start to finish including accompaniments, in 20 minutes. James Martin shows how using good-quality ingredients, smart store cupboard shortcuts and time-saving ideas can result in quick after-work suppers, as well as simple but stunning dishes for entertaining when you’re short of time.

The book includes everything from coriander crab cakes with chilli jam to hot-and-sour soup with chilli and mushrooms, sushi salmon and chicken with coriander yoghurt chutney as well as speedy puddings such as a 5-minute banoffee dessert and an ice-box cake.
