TV celebrity chef James Martin will be signing copies of his brand new cookbook Fast Cooking at Booths in MediaCityUK on 17 October. The presenter of BBC 1?s Saturday Kitchen is a regular team member on BBC 2s Ready Steady Cook - and, of course, a Strictly Come Dancing semi-finalist.
Fast Cooking is a collection of 100 simple, everyday recipes that can be prepared from start to finish including accompaniments, in 20 minutes. James Martin shows how using good-quality ingredients, smart store cupboard shortcuts and time-saving ideas can result in quick after-work suppers, as well as simple but stunning dishes for entertaining when youre short of time.
The book includes everything from coriander crab cakes with chilli jam to hot-and-sour soup with chilli and mushrooms, sushi salmon and chicken with coriander yoghurt chutney as well as speedy puddings such as a 5-minute banoffee dessert and an ice-box cake.
