A Manchester restaurant is set to sparkle when it hosts a special evening inspired by Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Zouk Tea Bar & Grill is hosting a glittering night of Bollywood entertainment, lavish cuisine and champagne cocktails in a bid to raise money for Plan UK.

The contemporary Chester Street restaurant will be transformed into a spectacular scene of Asian festivity for the event on Thursday, July 30 at 7.30pm. Beginning in the sleek bar, guests will enjoy a one-night-only Slumdog Cocktail, specially created by Zouk’s mixologist, before feasting on a tantalising three-course meal of authentic Lahore cuisine cooked before their very eyes in the open kitchen.

Bollywood dancers are set to showcase their mesmerising moves and breathtaking fire artists promise to wow diners with a unique performance. A special DJ will also be on hand to play a mix of eclectic music throughout the night and guests will be in with the chance of winning a raft of luxury prizes during a raffle.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Plan UK – Slumdog Millionaire’s dedicated charity which seeks to enable children in some of the world’s poorest countries to live in a safe and secure environment.

Tickets cost £25 per person and the event begins at 7.30pm until late. To book contact 0161 2331 090.
