The Lowry Hotel is to mark its 20th anniversary celebrations with a grown-up treasure hunt around the city. 20 five-star experiences worth over £5,500 are up for grabs – including an overnight in Manchester’s most exclusive suite – but you’ll have to solve the clues first.
The 5-star hotel will be spreading the love to visitors and locals alike by gifting 20 luxury prizes, one to celebrate each year of hospitality excellence.
The treasure hunt will run over a ten-day period from 26th August until 4th September and a prize will be hidden each day in a new secret place. The Lowry Hotel team will hide 20 golden tickets in various locations and landmarks around the city of Manchester for people to find. Branded anniversary balloons will mark the spot of some of the most exciting prizes.
Treasure hunt prizes include beauty treatments in the Lowry Hotel Spa, meals in the River Restaurant including Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Tea, cocktails in the hotel bar, a Lowry Hotel hamper, bottles of specially commissioned 20th anniversary edition Lowry gin and overnight stays. One lucky winner can even scoop the top prize of a night in the Lowry’s Presidential Suite where many A-List celebrities have stayed.
Clues to the prizes’ whereabouts will be posted on the Lowry’s social media channels. Eager participants need to keep an eye on The Lowry Hotel’s Instagram stories to find clues to work out the location of the prize.
The Lowry Hotel has already revealed the first clue as ‘Celebrating 20 years of The Lowry Hotel, this golden ticket is situated at the bottom of somewhere that is 20 floors high…’
Participants who find a treasure will be encouraged to post a picture of it on Instagram to claim the prize and tag @thelowryhotel and #TLH20.
