SUNDAY, December 13, sees the popular Makers Market event return to the Northern Quarter (not content with having curated the city’s best Yuletide traders’ event in Spinningfields).
The NQ’s own transplanted Koffee Pot will be joining the street fun around Stevenson Square, selling their tasty salted beef bagels. Less familliar but equally appetising will be the Holy Crab fries, sea poppers and Hail Mary oysters from Holy Crab. Add terrific Malay finger food from Nasi Lemak and it’s quite a pre-Christmas street feast.
There is also Charlie’s cheese (great eggs, too), Bobby’s Bangers, (mouth-watering bacon and sausages), Mrs. P’s Hot, Damn Hot & El Scorchio Chilli Jams plus awesome veggie and meat pies from Cumbrian Pig.
Factor in live music from Andrew Warern and oodles of prezzie-perfect quirky crafts stuff to purchase and your stocking fillers are sorted.
Makers Market, Stevenson Square, Northern Quarter. Sun, Dec 13, 11am-5pm.
