Young star chefs takeover at City Inn

30 June 2009

Three talented young chefs have been challenged to take over the City Inn kitchen and produce their own signature menu for one night only as part of Visit Manchester’s Young Star Chef Initiative.

Monday, July 6 promises to be a spectacular evening as Matthew Shone, Vinny Brooke and Roisin Rabbitt rise to the challenge. The City Inn protégés have incorporated the finest local and seasonal ingredients into their signature menu which will include a mouth watering de-constructed Lancashire hotpot.

In support of the event, City Inn is offering this three course menu and half a bottle of wine for just £25 per person. This is not only an opportunity to join in the celebration of the young chefs’ achievements, but is a chance to sample a fantastic menu at an exceptional price.

The Young Star Chef Initiative aims to recognise Manchester’s emerging chef talent by providing a showcasing opportunity to celebrate their achievements. Participating chefs will be presented with a Villeroy and Boch commemorative plate, chef whites and certificate.

To make a reservation for this event, contact City Café on 0161 242 1020 or email [email protected].
