Monkfish Molee Curry: Tampopo launches deluxe new menu

18 February 2014

Manchester-founded Asian food purveyor, Tampopo, has a revised menu with new, luxurious aspects to try. The menu keeps a focus on favourites but includes new dishes, hitting a slightly higher price point but coming in at a larger size. We particularly like the look of Monkfish Molee Curry (chunks of monkfish cooked with coconut milk, turmeric, curry leaves, galangal, tamarind, green mango and cherry tomatoes) and Thai Ped Makham with duck breast in a tamarind sauce on pak choi. Favourites like Gado Gado salad have also been reconfigured and enlarged into full plate size, while desserts are even more authentic than ever. On a recent visit we loved the Bubor Pulot Hittam (Malaysian sticky black rice pudding, made with coconut milk and palm sugar) and Spanish classic churros with hot chocolate sauce, which is popular in the Philippines.
