This would be a lovely spot, even without some of the best artisan coffee in town. The courtyard at Sedgewick Mill combines warm brickwork with a glorious glass ceiling. Enter through Royal Mills, the Ancoats jewel, and order yourself a single origin Garakyuin Peaberry from Kenyal. Hungry? We can recommend the extravagant toasties and the strawberry cake (if it’s available). Take some coffee beans home. There are sacks of the seasonally sourced stuff around and owner/caffeine aficionado Jamie Boland hard at work with his roasting machine.
