Located in the upper mall of Manchester Arndale shopping centre, this sprawling food court is home to so many wonderful independent food and drink stalls, you'll have some trouble deciding where to eat.
It's also provided a great starting point for local food businesses who have gone on to open their own bricks and mortar venues.
Due to the nature of the market, new stands pop up all the time, but you can enjoy Chinese food, Greek gyros, Indian food, Japanese street food and Vietnamese dishes, vegan junk food, traditional pies and sandwiches, hearty burritos and wraps and even authentic Portuguese custard tarts, Middle Eastern sweets, freshly cooked curries, Afro Caribbean meals and much more.
This is an in-the-know, very reasonable and popular place to refuel at lunchtime with a large, central and child-friendly seating area if you want to stay and eat. More like the markets of old than the sanitised shopping emporiums we're used to.
