The original Back's Delicatessen was a famous Brooklyn establishment, run by the great grandfather of the present owner, in 1920s New York. The site of the current deli has been a food emporium for over the last 50 years. Not that it's living in the past. Inside you'll find a modern interior with eclectic period pieces.
This independent delicatessen specialises in continental foods, fresh produce, unusual wines and local beers. They stock an equally eclectic mix of quality food products and fresh local produce along with many creative home-cooked dishes – basis of their popular outside catering operation. The deli also has a small seating area where you can grab breakfast or lunch.
