Cork of the North Wine Shop and Wine Bar in Heaton Moor is a specialist independent wine merchant.
Owner Marc Hough is an indie wine importer who opened his first wine bar/shop in Sale (13 Northenden Road, M33 2DH) which was a superb addition to that neighbour.
This second Cork, which opened in 2018, is a definite step-up with more than 500 different wines to take home or drink by the glass, including the biggest selection of organic and vegan wines in the North West. Check out the regular wine tastings matched with delicious small plates.
There's also a little wine garden where you can enjoy a bottle (or two) al fresco on the heated and covered terrace.
