This cute and friendly neighbourhood coffee shop is situated conveniently next door to Sale Metrolink stop overlooking the Bridgewater Canal. They take their coffee very seriously offering seasonal espresso and ethically sourced filter options from some of the UK’s premiere roasters, as well as a range of loose-leaf teas.
Grapefruit opened in 2019 and is owned by Garage rock duo RL Perry and Laetitia Glenton, from Comfortable on a Tightrope. Baker Amy Elkin works behind the scenes to create selection of high quality baked good and treats such as blueberry and lemon meringue friands, ciambellone with lemon and ricotta and cinnamon buns.
The café’s arty, homely feel is thanks to craftsmanship from a team who hand painted Grapefruit’s sign, tiles and lampshades.
