Situated in the former Saffron Lounge, the name fuses India and unique. And indeed there is nowhere else in town quite like Rajasthan-born architect Dinesh Maheshwar's labour of love, whose menu ranges across the sub-continent, hardly putting a foot wrong. Stand-out dishes include the best biryani we've ever tasted – a Hyderabadi-style (chicken version that is an aromatic spice garden of a rice dish. Check out, too, the fragrant, light Malabar Sea Bass, pan-fried in mustard seed and curry-leaf infused coconut milk or the Smoky Lal Maas Pitika, a Rajasthani delicacy featuring a spicy tomato sauce and mashed potato.
