Kabana is a simple curry house located in a Northern Quarter back street where it has been for over 25 years Many people might have walked past it without giving it a second glance but do not give it a miss! It gets very busy at lunchtime, most seats get taken so be open to sharing a table with other customers.
Operating very much in the rice and three canteen framework, the cooking is fresh and the menu changes with the seasons. Home-style curries and bread are made fresh on the premises every day.

Try channa dhall (chickpea daal), Tandoori chicken, keema peas and kebab with yoghurt sauce. The lamb chops, smothered in a chilli, mint and yoghurt are a high point.
