This once moribund local has been transformed by hospitality wizard Steve Pilling, whose other pub projects include two Dockyards (First Street and Media City), Gasworks and Didsbury's Dog and Partridge. This is nearer to home, across the road from two other of Steve's venues La Cantina and Roost.
As you'd expect, pub grub is good to accompany a reasonable range of cask ales. But if gin is more your thing, you'll find 101 of them here. There's also a spacious beer garden.
