Like taking shots when you’re on a night out? Point Blank is a basement cocktail bar and virtual shooting range on Deansgate. There are over 200 scenarios to choose from in the simulation shooting range, from shooting at stationary targets to help you nail down your accuracy, to the intensity of close quarter combat.
Imagine you’re the lead character in your favourite crime drama while you try to distinguish between shoot and no-shoot targets in the blink of an eye as you work your way through vitual rooms on screen room by room. You can even choose the right weapon for the job.
After all that, you’re going to need a drink. House cocktails include ‘Bite the Bulleit’ and ‘shot happens’ but there’s also a range of classic cocktails, beer on draft and n bottle, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Food is in the form of bar snacks. Chicken wings are a house speciality and you can even get a ‘minefield’ wing roulette which includes some sneaky hot and spice ones. There’s also a hot dog, loaded fries or pizza.
Point Blank serve a bottomless brunch on Sundays and have a (trigger) happy hour every day until 7pm where you can get 2 cocktails for £9.
Prices start at £30 and booths can be booked for groups of up to six people.
