This quirky Northern Quarter doughnut shop and café has built up a devoted following. Owned by Iwan Roberts (a proud Welshman) and Lucy Jackson (previously of Blawd), the bakery and café on Tib Street offers cakes, sandwiches, savouries, soups, stews and freshly brewed coffee, but it’s most well-known for its doughnuts and glazed twists.
These come in a variety of weird and wonderful flavours like coffee, hazelnut & white choc, cherry crumble and peanut butter and jelly. Siop Shop also creates a dedicated selection of vegan doughnuts (varieties change weekly). Plant-based milks are also available for hot drinks.
They sometimes even use the doughnut dough to make baked buns with delicious savoury fillings such as Gochujang slow cooked pork breakfast bun W/ DIY pickles, fried egg, sesame & ginger.
Opening hours are currently TUE-FRI 9-4 // SAT-SUN 10-4.
