Home to a slow-barbequing Inka Grill, (which they’ve got, at among other places, the Restaurant Bar and Grill), expect your Solita burger rich, smoky and moreish. Although paired with many other ingredients such as fresh onion rings and butter milk-fried chicken, the basic pattie is little short of sublime, combining chuck steak with bone marrow for an intense bite. The surroundings are pleasingly cool too, all black leather and polished wood, US-style chalk boards and cherry-red neon lights. The special burgers jazz things up a bit with chorizo, black pudding and the like, while starters such as pulled pork Sunday, and smoky, grilled veg side orders work well. Wines are New World leaning – ideal with punchy, meat flavours - and there is an excellent US beer selection to choose from. Booking is recommended.
