Tast on King Street is on three levels with different styles of dining on each floor. The menu has been overseen by multi-Michelin starred chef Paco Perez who brings his authentic taste of Catalonia to Manchester and comes over several times a year (Covid permitting) to cater for special dinners.
Expect cutting edge surprises from their small plate ‘Tastets’ in the ground floor bar and outside terrace where you'll feel the bustle of Barcelona. Specialities include mixed charcuterie boards with specialist Iberian meats, croquetas or a duck egg with crispy squid.
Things are still kept cool and casual in the first floor restaurant where you can enjoy a larger selection of tapas and dishes cooked in the charcoal oven such as a 40 day dry aged bone-in sirloin steak.
On the top floor you'll find Enxaneta, the pinnacle of Tast's gastronomic experience. Here you can work your way through one of three tasting menu experiences designed to take you on a culinary tour of Catalonia.
Tast offers a top regional wine list as well as a comprehensive selection of gin, classic cocktails and Spanish beers.
