Patrick Hannity's stylish restaurant has been a standard bearer for fine dining in West Didsbury since 1987, but he has never rested on his laurels. In  2012 Patrick opened The Lime Tree Restaurant and Wine Bar in Bollington, four years after acquiring a 20 acre smallholding, Hardingland Farm up near Macclesfield Forest to supply free range eggs, lamb, beef, and rare breed pork solely for his ventures. The ingredients are handled deftly and, if it there's rarely a hint of culinary daring in the kitchen, well maybe that's not the priority of such a classic neighbourhood restaurant.
