This is one of Manchester’s great spaces, inside the expensively revamped Refuge Assurance Building, which is now home to the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel.

It was given a new culinary lease of life in 2016 with the enlistment of DJ duo Justin Crawford and Luke Cowdray, owners of West Didsbury bar/bistro Volta and Chorlton's Elektrik, to curate the food. It’s a similar globally-influenced small plate offering. Away from the 130-cover restaurant there’s space too (loads of it) for a public bar, a Winter Garden and play den.
