The Vine, a 90-seater, all-day French-style brasserie, is the first indie venture of Levent Bilgic, formerly restaurant manager at The Anatolian Grill in Prestwich with a past CV that includes Heathcotes and Harvey Nichols.
Food here, promises Turkish-born Levent, will be fresh and Mediterranean-inspired menu, served in a relaxed, brasserie environment. Expect confit duck with choucroute, creamy mash and kirsch cherries or pan-roasted chicken breast plus plenty of tapas.
