Didsbury is a Manchester favourite when it comes to brunching, and while many of the places along Burton Road can be a little style over substance, Thyme Out deli is just the opposite.
Open from 8.30am until 4pm every day, this cottage operation specialises in big, healthy, hearty portions from the heart. Tuck into the Full Didsbury (£11.50) aka smoked Cheshire bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, beans, mushrooms and sourdough toast.
There's Manc Eggs (£9.50) poached eggs, crumbled Bury black pudding, sriracha, yoghurt, garlic butter and sourdough toast, or the Breakfast Burrito (£10) packed with sausage, pancetta, avocado, scrambled egg, cheese, hash, hollandaise. Plus lots more packed and stacked breakfast items, burgers, light bites and extras.
Thyme out is a lovely place to hang out with a wicker furniture vibe and their outside catering operation - Thyme Outside - comes highly recommended.
