Didsbury is a Manchester favourite when it comes to brunching, and while many of the places along Burton Road can be a little style over substance, Thyme Out deli is just the opposite. This cottage operation has hens out back, grows much of its own produce and specialises in big, healthy, hearty portions from the heart. Its very reasonable too, with a light breakfast from £4.95 (bacon, sausage, egg, beans, mushrooms and toasted bloomer) or tuck into the Full Didsbury (£6.95) aka bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, beans, mushrooms and toast. Theres the aptly named Foodies Breakfast (£10.50!) and made up of a selection of smoked bacon rashers, venison and pork belly sausages, horse shoe Bury black pudding, many slow roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, duck or homegrown eggs and toasted ciabatta. Or keep things simple with dippy duck eggs and a coffee (£5ish). A lovely place to hang out with a wicker furniture vibe.
