Trove is a real treasure, offering some of the best breakfasts and brunches in Manchester as well as their original Levenshulme base.
Inside the Stockport Road cafe, all whitewashed walls and a centrepiece huge table, the smell of baking is almost narcotic. All the bread, sourdough, malted and white, is handmade and organic.
Trove is a destination for innovative, seasonal brunch dishes alongside freshly baked sourdough, pastries, cakes, jams + chutneys, all made in house and available in the shop or online.You could even treat yourself to a regular weekly bread subscription if you're a fan.
Dishes on the breakfast/brunch menu range from simple porridge, granola or bagel options to a heartier vegan breakfast (£9.50), French toast with labneh and sukkah (£8.50), sausage ragu (£10) or eggs Benedict with bacon (£9.50)
A second branch of Trove opened in Sawmill Court, Ancoats in June 2018 while a third, more city central Trove launched at BLOC in June 2021 at 17 Marble Street, Manchester M2 3AW.
