One of our favourite restaurants from the south coast has blossomed and opened branches across the country in recent years. Bill's was a word of mouth success in Brighton and Lewes, the kind of place your friends would tell you you had to try. But the Whole Foods-meets-San Francisco brunch bar chain has expanded, and the new Manchester store is nearly ready to open. Blueberry and buttermilk pancakes, eggs benedict, chorizo Scotch egg, fish pie, and a wealth of fresh salads, and 'naked burgers' are the kind of delights to look forward to.
