Manchester’s King Street is beginning to resemble a European piazza this summer with El Gato Negro and the new branch of Franco Manca having extended their outdoor eating areas. Now you can treat yourself to an upcoming exclusive Mexican-inspired experience at Catalan Bar and restaurant, Tast.
Tast has partnered with VIVIR Tequila to offer a special two-day event at their bar and terrace area on 2nd and 3rd August.
VIVIR produces a range of premium Tequilas at their fifth-generation family-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Born from the love of Tequila that two good friends shared, they select the best and sweetest highland Weber Blue Agave grown in their own fields and use only natural local water from a volcanic spring that rises at the heart of the distillery.
Tast will be showcasing this amazing brand with a range of limited-edition hand-crafted cocktails and tastets (their signature small plates) with a Mexican flavour.
Bringing a touch of Barcelona to Manchester, Tast opened in 2018 as a joint project between Pep Guardiola, his Catalan colleague at Manchester City Txiki Bergiristain and Ferran Soriano, and the Fazenda group. It has established a reputation not just as a casual fine dining destination (with help from executive chef Paco Perez) but also as a great bar to hang out in.
The tequila-based specials will be available all day in Tast’s Bar & Terrace from 12:00 to 21:00 on the 2nd and 3rd of August. See Tast Meets Vivir for more information.
