Following the success of their first Manchester location at Piccadilly Gardens, which opened in September 2019, sourdough pizza pioneers Franco Manca are opening three new pizzerias across Greater Manchester in the space of three weeks.
A King Street location was the first to open to the public on Monday 13th June (not too far away from pizza rivals L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele.) A site at The Trafford Centre opens on Monday 20th, followed shortly by a pizza restaurant in the South Manchester suburb of Didsbury.
Franco Manca pizzas are made with slow-rising sourdough, using a ‘mother’ starter dough which dates back to the late 18th century. They are then topped with fresh, properly sourced, seasonal ingredients. Dough is made fresh on site, with daily specials on offer, and menu prices starting at just £5.95.
First procured by the pizzeria’s founder, Giuseppe Mascoli, near the city of Naples, the recipe still honours the ingredients and methods that make the age-old style of Neapolitan pizza unique, delicious and world-renowned.
To celebrate the new Manchester launches, Franco Manca is offering 50% off all dishes from the menu on the following dates:
- King Street: Monday 13th - Tuesday 14th June 2022
- The Trafford Centre: Monday 20th - Tuesday 21st June 2022
- Didsbury: Monday 4th - Wednesday 6th July 2022
For each opening, the much-loved pizzeria is also offering the chance for Mancunians to WIN one of ten tables for two on the house, by registering their interest on the Franco Manca website HERE.
The new restaurants will extend Franco Manca’s popular menu and continue to bring its world class pizza to those seeking a little taste of authentic Neapolitan cuisine.
