HERE are two sweet treats you’ll be missing when MilkJam closes at the end of the week, when the pop-up’s Oxford Street lease runs out. Gratuitous pictures of Peanut Butter Overload and Chocolate Brownies, just two of the confection spun from the talents of the city’s first confectionery ‘supergroup’.
The good news is the talented trio of Claire ‘Ginger’s Comfort Emporium’ Kelsey, Charlotte ‘BakeOrama’ O’Toole and Nicki ‘Lush Brownies’ Griffiths will still be around pursuing their own respective specialities independently at the end of the pop-up residency in the St James Building.
But where now under one sugar rush roof to overdose on innovative ice creams with sauces and toppings, fudge and caramel, milkshakes and brownies and blondies? The city is the poorer.
