The Epicurean, which already has three stores across Greater Manchester, has now opened its first city centre beer shop. The brand is famous locally for its vast collection of carefully selected bottles and cans as well as the staff’s expert knowledge on all things beer.
The new beer emporium, which has opened on Henry Street (next door to Kerb Wine) Ancoats, boasts over 500 beers from both local and international breweries including Track Brewery, Pomona Island Brew Co, DEYA Brewing Co and Verdant.
From purist German lagers (which are said to inflict less of a hangover) to limited edition collaboration ales, there’s be a beer for everyone in this new neighbourhood store. Visitors will find a comprehensive selection of vegan beers, gluten free beers, non-alcoholic beers and even beers for people who don’t like beer.
Known in Disbury, Chorlton and Heaton Moor as The Beer People, the Epicurean’s knowledgeable team are passionate in turning the pursuit of finding craft beer into an experience. Using their expertise they source the latest beers from breweries across Manchester and the rest of the world and are happy to make recommendations by country, style and brewer.
Friendly staff will be on hand to introduce beer connoisseurs to something unique, recommend something new to regular customers, acquaint non-beer drinkers with a bottle they’re sure to love. They will also be happy to help select cases and boxes of beers to make the perfect seasonal gift.
