There have been whispers around Manchester this month of an elegant new supper club called Seasons Eatings. Over at Trove cafe in Levenshulme they've got a monthly residency and they have now started a seasonal event at Fig and Sparrow Cafe in the Northern Quarter. At these special suppers designed around seasonal ingredients, diners can tuck into four-course feasts - with a cocktail on the side - for £30 a head. Chefs Suzy Owen and Izzy Jenkins are the team behind the events. They are fans of local, organic produce and dishes we've heard spoken about in reverential tones include sorrel ice cream with a beetroot and chocolate dust. Mmm.
