The renovation of Altrincham's historic Market House by Nick Johnson, Jenny Thompson and team was pivotal in putting Altrincham back on the map. It drew lots of other top quality independent operators to the area and is the key reason Altrincham now features in many UK 'Best Places to Live' lists.
It is now the holder of various awards, and the Market House has gone on to replicate its formula in the city centre at the Northern Quarter's Mackie Mayor building as well as Macclesfield's Picturedrome.
