Latest project from David Vanderhook, who also runs The George Charles in West Didsbury and Lime Bar at Salford Quays.
The Con Club is a bustling canteen-style space in the heart of Altrincham in what used to be the Working Men’s Conservative Club, on Greenwood Street.
It has been converted into a relaxed all-day eating and drinking venue with with vaulted ceilings and white painted brick walls and its own micro-brewery. It even has a hidden rooftop tipi, overlooking the lower market and Everyman Cinema.
The Con Club serves premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood, sushi and sashimi from the raw bar, as well as classic dishes prepared from scratch, using the finest quality ingredients from local suppliers. Open 7 days a week you can visit for mid-morning coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner.
During the day, the atmosphere is more chilled out, in the evenings and on weekends, they get the cocktails going and turn up the music.
Bookings can be taken for eating indoor but the outside terraces are for walk-in’s only.
