Toast opened in 2018, taking over a former bank near the entrance to the Goose Green area of Altrincham and turning it into a quirkily themed all day venue.
Owner/manager Justin Orange wanted the perfect spot to launch something distinct and that name is the giveaway - everything has to be on toast. Trove supply a wide choice of breads to get their grilling.
The full menu is served all day including breakfast items such as French toast with smoked butter and maple syrup to the more expected bacon or smoked salmon with eggs cooked in various ways.
You’ll find more exotic toast topping for lunch such as slow cooked lamb shoulder and chermoula with Tenderstem broccoli or chicken with plum chutney, Parma ham and mozzarella.
After that, fancy some dessert toast? Hard to choose between key lime pie on milk loaf or, gulp, chocolate and toasted marshmallow on toast.
