Trove Ancoats

5 Murray Street

Ancoats

Manchester

M4 6HS

The original Trove Bakery and café opened in Levenshulme in 2011 led by the traditional principles of simple, additive-free, wild yeast sourdough baking.

They have since expanded with a café and shop in Ancoats and a new branch of their popular independent cafe and sourdough bakery within Bruntwood Works’ newly redeveloped Bloc building. (Read more about that HERE)

Trove’s pastry team makes a range of seasonal tray bakes, tarts and sweet and savoury pastries using quality, organic flours and seasonal flavours and all available on the counter at each of the cafés.

Pastry dough is made with organic white and wholemeal flour, French butter, organic eggs, sea salt, sugar and levain and take 42 hours to complete after mixing, cold proving, laminating, hand-cutting, shaping, and proving before being baked fresh every morning at 6am.

Trove Ancoats is a destination for innovative, seasonal breakfast and brunch dishes, sandwiches and seasonal soup alongside freshly baked sourdough, pastries, cakes, jams and chutneys, all made in house. They are also licensed to sell cocktails, natural wine and beer.
